Minimum requirements for the role :
BComm. Degree in Accounting or related is essential.
Must be a graduate or have maximum 1 years’ working experience.
Must be computer literate with intermediate Excel skills and good working knowledge of MS Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for figures are essential.
Must reside within a 30km radius from Tulisa Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Assisting with general accounting duties such as debtors, creditors, general ledger and general entries.
Entering and balancing accounts receivable and payable on a daily basis.
Tracking deposits made to bank and handling deposit transfers.
Assisting with the assembling of financial data for audits.
Monitoring credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges.
Maintaining an orderly financial filing system.
Assisting with reconciling department accounts monthly and preparing reports to present to management.
Tracking tax payments and compiling information for tax filing.
Assisting with other accounting projects in the office.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
