You will be overseeing the branch, including a few sales staff, but a large portion of your work will be generating new sales.

POSITION OVERVIEW : This exciting role will require an individual to manage a team of sales consultants as well as oversee the day to day running of the branch and go out and generate sales in the respective areas of responsibility.
It will be required by the incumbent to lead from the front, in not just managing the individuals but also generating its own revenue stream from new business.
The Manager will take responsibility to ensure the branch runs smoothly from operations to procurement. There is support staff in various roles and will be required by the incumbent to motivate and drive the individuals so the business is able to grow its profitability.
The current branch has a staff compliment of around 12 people and is the sleeping giant of the organisation awaiting a driven individual to take it to the level.
REMUNERATION AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : The candidate must preferably have an undergraduate degree or diploma. 3-5 years' experience in a similar MANAGEMENT position.
Must be bilingual A leader by nature. Proven track record of achievement. The remuneration package will be market related and commensurate with experience.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES : Intelligent, committed and loyal individual. Self-motivated and well presented. A team player who leads from the front works well with others.
Be able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at once and results driven. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literacy vital on Microsoft Office, pivots, ERP. Entrepreneurial by nature and hungry for success. An order generator not an order taker.
JOB REQUIREMENTS : To manage a team and drive the business. To review daily, weekly, monthly sales, purchases, backorders reports and other.
Co-ordinate with sales department and visit customers, review productivity, quotations and follow ups. Understand the market and the area and apply sales resources to those.
Co-ordinate between the various departments to ensure clear lines of communication. Ensure customers' demands and requirements are met and followed up on.
Be responsible for the petty cash, cash sales and tallying up of daily takings. Manage expenses for the branch. Take responsibility for managing the computer systems, networks, telephones and operations.
Safeguard the company's assets. Report daily, weekly and monthly to Head Office. COMPENSATION : Salary is a fixed monthly salary unlike a structured package of a sales person.
