Alrode - Establish, implement, and maintain company’s food safety system as per FSSC requirements and customer specific accreditations.
Key responsibilities Manage and Coordinate Q.C. personnel Create a safe environment with required resources for Q.C. department employees.
Manage laboratory and product analysis. Manage asset care of laboratory equipment to ensure that is working and calibrated.
Ensure effective housekeeping is maintained in lab. Ensuring that the Food Safety System (FSSC) is established, implemented, maintained, continually improved, and updated.
Develop, implement, and update product specifications. Working with production to develop solutions to production issues, maintaining food safety.
Ensure resolution to customer complaints. FSSC training requirements Ensuring regulatory and Statutory compliance Internal Auditing Facilitate food safety meeting with Food Safety Team Communicate with outside labs.
Education / Experience 5 Years’ management experience in production environment of which were overseeing a quality team.
Must have FSSC 22000 level 5 experience, food retailer standards implementation shall be advantageous. 3 years’ experience in working with pest control contractors on a manufacturing site.
5 Years’ experience in passing external food safety audits. Physical fit (able to do some lifting at times) Ability to understand process control sheets.
Ability to work under pressure due to the nature of the business. Ability to work overtime and shifts when required. 3 years basic understanding of production systems and processes.
