Reporting to Business Manager (Africa & SWA - Develop Markets), you will be responsible for Developing optimal RTM model for Southern African Markets through distributors / wholesalers with a clear framework to measure key KPI’s (Net Sales, volume, in-market sales, trade coverage and spends), while creating processes and enablers to ensure leveraging fair value.
Managing distributor relationships and delivering sales (Top and bottom line) of products in the specified geographical area development and execution of sales plans, targets, and budgets within the overall business unit sales strategy.
Taking the lead in the management of key customer relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with them and responsible for building sales capability and for the overall management and motivation of the local distributors.
Geographical Coverage You will be designated to oversee the following distributorship markets : Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Seychelles, Mauritius, Malawi, Madagascar, and Swaziland.
Required Skills and Experience Minimum 4-6 years of experience in FMCG or relevant industries Minimum 2 years of experience at sales manager level Distributor management experience is a must with exposure to Southern African markets cluster.
Flexible to travel, independent, excellent communicator and able to motivate and drive in market execution and distributor sales Strong Analytical skills with fluency in English language.
