Role Overview :

Oversee a portfolio of corporate client accounts, responsible for the efficient and profitable running of all client business within that portfolio.

Develop forward-looking digital / social media / paid-for media strategies, activities and client programmes and oversee their execution.

Also responsible for digital analytics, community management and efficient crisis communications response. Is active in driving new business activities and pitches and is also focused on external Instinctif Partners profiling activities, including company social media platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manage the overall client relationship with Instinctif Partners and creates a trusted advisor relationship with clients
  • Deliver consistent quality control management over all client activities
  • Provide a senior and qualified presence in meetings, and lead these as appropriate
  • Prepare and execute effective social media, digital and brand positioning strategies
  • Implement digital campaigns, responsible for content curation and creation
  • Copywriting for social media platforms, including LinkedIn
  • Develop and implement social media advertising strategies
  • Research and implement new digital innovations both internally and for clients
  • Effectively manage digital platforms for clients on a daily basis
  • Provide accurate measurement and evaluation of all client digital endeavours
  • Give high level advice, including social media crisis management counsel
  • Deliver coaching to clients, either formally in social media awareness / community management workshops for example, or informal sessions
  • Proactively project manage client accounts, assigning and tracking tasks both up and down the management chain, ensuring that all team members deliver to deadline
  • Proactively track activity on client accounts to ensure that service / activity levels are maintained and client satisfaction is achieved
  • Commercial

  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, including understanding of service level against fee income takes the initiative and responsibility for raising issues as necessary
  • Connected to the trends, insights and networks in the industry sectors in which clients operate and is also well-versed on social media, popular culture and digital developments
  • Manage all budgeting procedures with complete financial control
  • Represent Instinctif Partners at relevant industry forums, conferences and seminars and on different media platforms
  • Draft regular insight pieces, focusing on key industry trends / developments
  • Core Competencies

  • Experience : 7- 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on corporate clients and B2B communication
  • Qualifications : Digital marketing related qualification / SEO certification / social-media platform / paid-for media certification
  • Copywriting : Accurate, targeted digital copywriting for a portfolio of cross-sectoral clients across relevant social media platforms
  • Digital marketing : Proficient in the planning, execution and measurement of paid-for media endeavours Twitter, Facebook, Instagram LinkedIn, Google Ads etc.
  • Analytics : Drafting of comprehensive analytics reports with strategic recommendations (website, social media, paid-for media).
  • Also has to perform regular social media audits, utilising social media listening tools

  • Content Curation : Drafting of comprehensive social media content calendars tailored for each client and platform, experience in accurate live tweeting / posting at conferences or events
  • Crisis Commination : Ongoing monitoring of client social media platforms and flagging of potential issues. Able to advise clients accordingly, formulating accurate and appropriate responses and actions during a social media crisis
  • New Business : Proactive sourcing and acquisition of new clients / projects. Drafting of appropriate new business proposals and participation in / leading of ongoing pitch presentations
  • Training : Ability to conduct client specific social media awareness / community management trainings, including the drafting of guidelines and playbooks
  • Financial Management : Understands the organisations financial processes. Prepares, justifies and administers the programme budget.
  • Oversees procurement and contracting to achieve desired results. Monitors expenditures and uses cost-benefit thinking to set priorities

  • Strategic Thinking : Formulates objectives and priorities and implements plans, consistent with the long-term interest of the organisation in a global environment, capitalising on opportunities and manages risk
  • Decision-making : Makes well informed, effective and timely decisions even when data is limited or solutions produce unpleasant consequences
  • Client Development : Develops networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships.
  • Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers, delivering a high-quality service and proactively manages client-service team up and down the management chain.
