Our client, an advertising and design agency, seeks to appoint a Junior Bookkeeper to join their team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Grade 12 / Matric
At least 3 years' experience in light Finance & Admin / Reception
Sage knowledge would be an advantage (training provided)
Energetic and passionate
Process all expenses into accounting system.
Reconcile all creditors monthly.
Process all invoices for customers as required / instructed by operations team.
Send statements and invoices to customers as required.
Reconcile customer statements to accounts monthly.
Reconcile petty cash and bank accounts weekly.
Prepare monthly VAT summary for review.
Prepare any reports and process journals as requested / required by the group accountant.
Respond to management on any queries on the monthly accounts.
Maintain all accounting records as required.
Ensure VAT submissions are processed and paid prior to cut offs.
Any other processing requirements as required from time to time.
Prepare and facilitate tender submissions from time to time.
Process all staff leave on a monthly basis before the salary and wages run.
Ensure all PAYE submissions are processed and paid prior to cut offs.
Respond to all staff requests regarding leave.
Ensure all financial records are filed and stored in accordance with company policies.
Assist with office coordination & front of house.
Delegating phone calls.
Managing office supplies.
Basic administration duties.
