Job Description PRTRs IT Team is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Application Support Specialist to join one of our international clients based in Bangkok.

Youll be expected to work as part of a team to deliver high-level operational support meeting all SLAs and KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a combination of hands-on web application and Infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities : Ensuring adherence to the organization Security Policy.Adhering to appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies (i.

e. change control, security and auditing, release, configuration, problem and incident management).Maintaining system stability and high availability.

Using the system and software knowledge to resolve calls.Adhering to call priority effectively, and escalate where necessary.

Ensuring progression of issues within a defined strategy and context.Demonstrating ownership and taking the lead on complex issues.

Consulting with colleagues on solutions and solving complex problems.Completing the daily checks following defined procedures.

Escalating issues to management where appropriate.Handling the application monitoring, performance and capacity tuning as directed from time to time.

Providing 2nd-3rdline application support on complex internally and externally developed applications.Managing problems from identification through to resolution.

Participating in the implementation, backup and roll-back plans for production support changes.Maintaining good working relationships with internal departments as well as 3rdparty vendors and hosting providersProviding out of hours support cover as required.

24x7 on call rotation.Maintaining the records in line with business requirements.Adhering to appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies.

Changing control, Security, Auditing, Release promotion, Configuration management, Incident management.Exercising due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the role is responsible for are organized and controlled.

Upholding responsibilities for risk and business continuity practices as appropriate to the position the role holds within the organization.

Complying with the regulatory regimes, with particular consideration given to relevant Client Asset, Data Protection and Financial Crime Prevention regulations, as appropriate to the above role.

Qualifications2+ years of an Application support role.Experience with supporting Windows server and SQL Server.Knowledge of Linux and / or Oracle.

Understanding of RDBMS.Extensive problem solving and debugging skills.Possess excellent analytical skills.Experience in supporting RHEL and windows server environments.

Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures.Experience of writing SQL queries.Experience with supporting Java and .

NET applications.Knowledge of XML / IIS.Proven experience of working with a version control System ( Subversion, MKS, VSS).

Experience in Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture.ITIL Certification.Understanding of SDLC.Understanding of Financial Services industry.
