Job Title : Software Support and Training Technician
Reports Directly to : Managing Director
1. Purpose of Job
Customer technical support
Remote and on site customer training.
Software development and maintenance.
Ensure software platforms and associated systems functioning optimally at all times.
Build and maintain professional relationships with all customers at all levels of interaction.
Support of other areas of the business when required.
Assist in other functions of the business when requested by management.
Customer follow up regarding platform and / or software related issues.
Schedule installations with customer and make sure that the installer is properly prepared for the install.
Keep client billing on an excel spreadsheet up to date and continuously liaise with Michelle in this regard.
Managing Vodacom billing statements per client.
4. Knowledge and Skills
Able to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines. Manages time effectively.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Able to use a PC and access data via the internet.
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing English / Afrikaans. Establishes and maintains effective
relationships with customers, suppliers, employees and management throughout his territory.
Ability to maintain a consistently positive, productive and professional attitude during stressful situations, exercise initiative and judgment in order to solve basic work problems.
Proficient in the use of the PL and YEAH Platform.
