If you are looking to take your logistics sales career to the next level this may be the perfect opportunity for you! Key Performance Areas will entail :

  • Create and build strong pipeline of opportunities in existing verticals (Commodities, Perishables, Projects, Liquid Bulk)
  • Ensure successful conversion of opportunities into long term customers
  • Ensure on agreement of all SLA requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage all sales leads and complete sales process (internal & external)
  • Meet budgets to ensure on target performance
  • Ensure high level customer services and engagement and upsell additional value-added solutions
  • Ensure quality productivity through new business prospecting, sales presentations and negotiations resulting in successfully gaining the business
  • Update CRM system with all details pertaining to sales activity
  • Report directly into Sales Director In return this opportunity will offer :

  • Matric with relevant Sales / Marketing or Logistics qualification
  • Must be results and target driven with a proven track record in achievement of targets
  • Must have previous new business development experience within Clearing & Forwarding / Liner Agency / Warehousing or Logistics / Cross-Border Environments
  • Thrive on hunting and kicking doors down for new business
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Own presentable vehicle with valid driver’s license
  • Flexible to travel on a National and International basis
