A large Corporate Company, within the Financial services Services industry, is recruiting for an 6 months contract IT Manager.

The IT Manager has to optimally align IT Infrastructure and vendors to support company stratedgy and operational requirements.

The IT Manager has to advise business on new information technologies available that will support and improve various business areas and customer experience.

Vendor management - selection, contract management, SLA monitoring (Internal and external) as the company outsource its entire IT function (Adherence to SLA's) To prepare annual budget and quartely forecasts, in order to accommodate business growth in line with company strategy.

Remain within budget without any loss of service or degradation of customer experience To manage disaster recovery and business continuity -

ensure that proper back-up procedures are followed. Maintain off site disaster recovery site - own network, live replication of data, ghosting, fail over connectivity, IVR continuity, regular review and testing To manage all telephony requirements and infrastructure to be cost effective and meet availability requirements To ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures To create and monitor project plans and resource allocation.

Primary incident management application, other applications and integration with 3rd party applications To ensure maintenance of server room and all related services (i.

e. power, generators, UPS, air conditioning, fire suppression system and access control) To manage IT steering committee -

Provide reporting to Directors and CEO on progress relating to all tasks and gathering information on upcoming projects, communicating requirements to vendors.

To research and develop, identify new applications that will improve company performance or resource allocation and customer experience To create, develop and maintain all IT related policies and procedures (i.

e. security, IT strategy, development lifecycle, governance etc.) To remain abreast of IT advancements and trends to ensure that competitive advantage is maintained To conduct research and case studies on leading edge information technologies to determine probability and benefit of implementation To select and implement suitable information technologies to streamline internal operations To oversee the delivery of effective, efficient, and secure IT services across the organisation To proactively consult with senior management as an advisor on IT to improve efficiency and effectiveness To evaluate, estimate costs and impact, and prioritise strategic initiatives, department needs and user requirements to generate IT operational plans and budgets To oversee the management of system infrastructure, hardware and software To build quality assurance and data protection processes to assure the security and intergrity of information resources To assure that IT-

related compliance requirements are met and that IT best practices are applied as appropriate To ensure all relevant IT governance structures are in place and managed Any other related duties required by the CFO from time to time.
