Want to be a part of our team?The primary responsibility of the DevOps Manager is to collaborate with Leadership, Product Development, Infrastructure Operations and Quality Assurance to ensure available, scalable and reliable business experiences in the daily management of the applications area in the business.
The role should drive increased capacity to innovate and expedite the value of the application for our business. This includes management of all design, build, release and support activities associated with the application portfolio.
The role needs to take decisive management accountability and ownership of the DevOps portfolio of the entire application to manage the application outcomes for the businesses’ role must manage the teams responsible for all activities in the application environment.
They are responsible to ensure the team deliver and execute in alignment with solid DevOps principles and practices. The role owns and runs and is accountable for the end to end run of the application environment and associated teams.
The role is responsible to advice and plan the roadmap of the application for the business. Radford Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware / software and database management.
Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems. Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Working at NTT Key Roles and Responsibilities : Execute strategy - Will work closely with a variety of internal IT stakeholders to ensure the execution of the DevOps strategy specifically with reference to the application landscape the role is required to manage.
These individuals establish business goals and continuously change them based on business and IT feedback thereby improving both agility and business outcomes for the application.
Design, develop and implement operational capabilities - Oversees the design, development, and implementation of processes, capabilities, tools and processes that enable highly available, scalable and reliable application experiences to be delivered for the NTT Ltd business.
They oversee the product / portfolio lifecycle of the application and ensure the development and operation of an agile software development process all the way through to production.
They also need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Business Analysts and Developers to ensure the collaborative development and continuous integration and the early discovery and exposure of integration risks, reduced costs and shortened testing cycles.
Test and deploy processes - Ensures the creation of processes that are iterative, frequent, repeatable and reliable. They manage the development of a delivery pipeline that allows for continuous automated deployment and testing ensuring the release of new enhancements and bugfixes for the application as soon as possible, enabling the practice of continuous delivery.
Monitor and validate operational quality - Ensures early monitoring of the functional and non-functional characteristics of the application to ensure the application is realized by enabling automated testing.
They are responsible to analyses tickets opened by the business, formal change requests, informal complaints and ratings to monitor client feedback.
They manage the outcomes of the tickets opened to ensure the uptime and quality of the production system is always maintained.
Provide metrics - Provides metrics which allows the organisation to be more agile and responsive to application needs and allows stakeholders to take appropriate action to improve the applications and enhance the customer experience.
Performance management - Manages individuals and groups. Allocates responsibilities and / or packages of work, including supervisory responsibilities.
Delegates responsibilities as appropriate. Sets performance targets, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria.
Provides effective feedback, throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance. Provides input into formal processes such as compensation negotiations and disciplinary procedures.
Emerging technology monitoring - Plans and leads the identification and assessment of new and emerging technologies and the evaluation of the potential impacts, threats and opportunities.
Creates technology roadmaps which align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions. Software design - Selects, adopts and adapts appropriate software design methods, tools and techniques, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative / agile) approaches.
Testing and Release - Coordinates and manages planning of the system and / or acceptance tests, including software security testing, within a development or integration project or program.
Takes responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinates the execution of these activities.
Co-ordinates the release of code by the team into production and the change management of the release for there application.
Application support - Drafts and maintains procedures and documentation for applications support. Manages application enhancements to improve business performance.
Advises on application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs. Ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures.
Manages the Teams SLA’s in accordance to the drafted and agreed SLA’s to ensure compliance and objectives as defined are managed and met.
or extensive experience Relevant SAP FI / CO Certification beneficial Relevant DevOps certifications will be beneficial Agile related certifications preferable Required Experience : Minimum of 8 10 years of SAP FI / CO team management experience .
S / 4HANA experience is beneficial. Substantial years of experience deploying software solutions to clients in an outsourced or similar IT environment.
