owned metal recycling company with its headquarters in Cape Town and operations in the Western Cape and Gauteng. The Human Capital department requires a committed, experienced and motivated Training & Development Manager to join their team.

The candidate is to manage training initiatives and programmes within the company. This position requires a dynamic individual who is able to work in a diversified and fast-

paced environment.Main Functions : Work closely with business units to assess existing and future employee development requirementsManage and maintain accurate and detailed records of all training completed and expenses incurred.

Management of all legislative training Manage all training and development requirements and needs for business Provide training on internal company policies and proceduresDevelop and implement programs at work that connect employees with business goals, values and objectivesManage and develop methods of measuring if performance management aligns with organizational objectives Manage and facilitate conflict resolution workshops for business units Manage and maintain succession planning initiativesCreate and maintain manuals and develop training programmes in line with the companys operational objectivesFacilitate organizational change and effectivenessEnhance and entrench a high performance cultureContribute to Organizations strategic management processManage the implementation of equity and diversity strategyRequirements : 5-

  • 8 years experience in management of Training and Development Tertiary Education - Degree in Social Sciences / Industrial Psychology / Human Resources / Training & Development Grade 12 or equivalentExcellent computer Literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to work in a pressurized environmentGood planning and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamFull knowledge and understanding of Training & related legislation and structuresKnowledge and understanding of the following legislation;
  • EE Act, SD Act and OHSA;Ability to converse in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa would be an added advantage;Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skillsQualifying Attributes : High level of Emotional IntelligenceEfficient and self-
