Position Description :
A challenging position has become available in TFG Facilities Management, Northern Region.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual whom will be responsible to manage the following facilities :
Isando Regional Office
Fedisa Training Academy
You will be responsible for :
Building and Technical Infrastructure Management
Vendor and Contract Management inc SLA’s
Customer Service Management
HR and Personnel Management
Risk Management including Health and Safety
Building Information Management including Utilities
Fleet management for all TFG owned vehicles in the above mentioned sites
You should have :
Proven operational management experience
Strong service management orientation
Good people management skills
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Sound problem solving skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills;
Procurement and negotiation skills;
The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload;

Clear and concise writing skills and the ability to handle long and complex documents;

Computer literate (Excel, Power Point, Word, Micro Soft project)
A practical, flexible and innovative approach to work.
Drivers licence and own vehicle
Must be available after hours in the event of an emergency.
3 to 5 year work experience in Facilities Management.
3 to 5 year Technical work experience (Boilers, Generators, UPS, Electrical, HVAC, Compressors, Sprinklers)
A relevant business related qualification will be an advantage
High level understanding of Security process
High level understanding of Fire systems
High level understanding of Technical security systems
Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
