Purpose
To provide parts operational support to the Dealer network in order to optimize associated service delivery, ensuring practice integration and maximising performance, sales and profits for the business.
Minimum Requirements
Industry legislative compliance / knowledge.
Importer experience.
Distribution experience.
OEM liaison experience with different countries.
Importer Management System experience.
Experience around suggested orders using Hidden Treasures or Just-in-Time or similar systems.
Experience on initial parts orders for new models.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong analysis skills to understand erratic and spikes in parts demands.
Specific Role Responsibilities
GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS
PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE
Analyse, interpret, and produce detailed reports explaining trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Develop a plan for multi practice changes, specify the priorities of delivery plans and resources needed.
Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans to support multifunctional strategic objectives in conjunction with other business units.
Implement corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in multiple practice areas in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.
Analyse dealer stock and ordering trends, and implement OEM / Importer best practices to improve service to end users.
Develop, implement and manage parts service levels agreements to the dealer network in order to enhance dealer performance.
Ensure Dealer network and Importer compliance according to OEM / Importer, policies, procedures and standards.
Keep abreast of latest technology and industry best practices to improve warehouse operations where applicable.
Manage the efficient operation of the warehouse by implementing productivity and quality standards in order to meet the warehouse operations performance objectives.
Develop, align and implement a departmental (tactical) strategy and associated policies and guidelines.
Implement corporate governance and compliance policies to identify and manage risk exposure liability.
Measure the delivery of operational plans, realign and improve where required.
Develop, implement and monitor demand management plans to ensure parts stock availability.
Manage, coordinate and monitoring parts procurement activities in compliance with SOP’s and relevant regulations.
FINANCE
Contribute to the setting of budgets, minimise expenditure and manage costs and assets effectively.
Optimise warehouse operations in order to maximise efficiencies that contributes to cost reductions.
Provide guidance with regard to the optimisation of dealer ordering patterns in order to increase profitability.

Plan and deliver services that create a culture which aims to exceed customer expectations in all aspects of the business.
Prepare service delivery excellence plans for internal and external customers and ensure implementation.
Build and maintain Dealer network relationship to ensure service delivery excellence to end users.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience
5 - 8 years experience in a similar environment, of which at least 3 - 4 years managerial experience
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor s Degrees and / or Advanced Diplomas with NQF Level 07
