Responsibilities

  • Understand the customers’ priorities and strategies, and plan programs of services that drive value and contribute to Microsoft growth through attainment of your revenue based, share based and / or consumption-based quota
  • Own opportunity pipeline and drive share for Microsoft Modern Classroom solutions within managed accounts by setting and achieving monthly sales forecasts.
  • Deliver classroom transformation and success through accelerated adoption and usage resulting in customer references that can be leveraged in future sales engagements.
  • Culture

  • Drive competitive direction, insight and strategy to proactively win new business and share through Microsoft’s differentiated value in education.
  • Identify customer business challenges and bring them to agreement on the business value of the Modern Classroom solutions -
  • including detailed relevant industry use cases, financial analysis such as Total Cost of Ownership & Return on Investment

  • Own opportunities from start to close by orchestrating an extensive virtual team consisting of technical and partner roles across an extensive portfolio of products.
  • Orchestrate the completion of a successful Customer Success Plan in all new opportunities before opportunity is closed to drive deployment and usage.

  • Foster and expand Microsoft’s relationships with School Business Decision Makers and alleviate sales team blockers to evaluation, contracting, deployment and usage.
  • Proactively plan and manage Proof of Concept projects that drive customer objectives, outcomes and success creating lighthouse examples of digital transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars and direct engagement.
  • Diversity and inclusion

  • Support large and managed 1 : 1 device deals via proactive engagement with Ministries of Education, education foundations and channel partners.
  • Support local device, deployment and training partners and ensure they are trained on the value of Windows 10, Intune for Education and Office 365.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to ensure devices from global and local OEM’s are available at the right price points and configurations for your market.

  • Partner with other roles to ensure customer success in the acquisition, implementation, and consumption of Microsoft’s services and solutions
  • Act as a primary contact for the customer, and serve as an escalation point when required leveraging voice of customer feedback through surveys, listening systems and social mechanisms to identify and alleviate key customer success blockers
  • Providing insight and feedback from customers and partners to the Microsoft Worldwide Industry Teams to help learning and improvement in industry solutions and digital transformation offerings
  • Remain focused on customer facing time by running a predictable and healthy business maintaining rigorous sales process compliance
  • Participate in internal Microsoft sales communities and in the broader industry through events, yammer, community gatherings and more.
  • Continuously nurture and expand your sales, industry, technology and competitive knowledge and capabilities
  • Qualifications

  • Strong solution sales background, with 5-8 years of technology-related experience, with experience in immersive and inclusive learning experiences, Online Productivity tools, Windows, mobility and devices
  • Bachelor’s degree with exposure to Information Technology (or equivalent) is required; MBA is preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and master new concepts and technologies to be able to impact their adoption and usage
  • Possess executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with education business decision makers articulating and demonstrating Microsoft and partner solution value propositions, with specific emphasis on solutions related to immersive and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-
  • relevant solutions, with an understanding of competitive technologies to address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments

  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
