Kimberley - The Factory Shop Supervisor responsibilities include receiving, ordering and arrangement of stock for the factory shop, place and arrange items in fridges, on shelves and in store, merchandising, supervision of teams and general store management.

Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)Stock Receiving and off-loadingReceive StockOff-load items to receiving area and de-stack stockBlind receive stock into storeCheck items for damages and keep all pallets neat and tidyEnsure that stock rotation is done according to prescribed methodsOnly pick stock from open boxes before opening new boxesPack freezers at the backMerchandising and CleaningMaintain shop and shelves volumesFill up shop at closing before leavingMerchandising of allocated displaysClean allocated areas as per rosterReporting & CountingReport damages and check the expiry dates, sell by dates and best before datesPerform daily blind stock count as per set scheduleGeneral Cash management, admin management and people managementTeam SupervisionBe knowledgeable and conversant in all tasks of Dispatch division to enable you to train and supervise your teamEnsure all team members are trained, knowledgeable and conversant in the tasks they are AllocatedTeamworkSupport department managers and co employees.

Actively participate as a member of the teamPerforming any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the manager.

Housekeeping and Safety StandardsEnsures that cleaning and housekeeping standards on equipment and work areas aremaintained according to laid down standards and normsEnsure Personal hygiene standards are maintainedTake reasonable care for own health and safety as well as the health and safety of othersWear the correct PPE in accordance with the company policy and proceduresNo interference or abuse of any health, safety and environmental welfare equipmentKeep work areas clean and free from hazards and risksKnowledge, skills, and experience requiredEducational Background : Grade 12Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans & EnglishKnowledge / Skills : Operational AgilityEnsure Vision, Mission and Values underpin all activitiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to lead a teamCompetenciesAbility to show initiativeAbility to work as part of a teamSelf-motivated and reliablePerformance DrivenWell-organised
