They are ready to take on the African market and go up against one of their biggest competitors who has already entered the market in Africa.
With a strong network of manufacturing suppliers across the globe, they have the means to take on the African market with unparalleled prices to draw on, now they just need the right TECHNICAL Sales Consultant to make it happen! Their target audiences are EPC’s and installers and they need someone who already has a great network coupled by industry insight to get the ball rolling for them in South Africa, and later Africa.
Since the firm recently opened, they have a small team in Cape Town and a flat organizational structure from their Head Offices overseas, which means that decisions are made quickly and support from their OEM network is easily accessible (should you want additional training on their partners products not a problem!!!).
They are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant who understands various products and who has the ability to quickly pick up on how new products work (on a technical level) and how these would be best suited to their different clients so a need to understand the clients specific technical needs is key in order to deliver.
You will find yourself answering technical questions of their Head Business Developer as well as their clients and troubleshooting queries and issues, even advising on best products to use for their solutions.
You will find yourself reporting to their Head of Business Development and if you enjoy working a casual work environment then this is the perfect role for you! In an ideal world, you would be able to put a solar PV system together because you understand the equipment and how each part plays a role in the greater picture.
You must be someone who loves to know what tech is out there and what innovative new products are entering the market, and what is specifically suited to the African market.
