MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : Build relationships with 3rd party distributors, focusing in detail on profiling our narrow anddeep channelsConduct product knowledge training and site inspections including hosting agentsAttend trade shows and sales events to showcase the group to the marketSuccessful complaint resolutionPro-Actively identify key trade partners and plan activationsManage Trade Marketing on (but not limited to) consortium platforms, social mediaengagement strategy, e-blasts and identify other opportunitiesREQUIREMENTS : Bachelors degree in marketing or business administration7+ years in sales management within a 5-star Hospitality environmentProven track record of success in the sales cycle from plan to closeExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skillsSuperb leadership abilityAbility to travel when requiredSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES : Build relationships with 3rd party distributors, focusing in detail on profiling our narrow and deep channelsConduct product knowledge training and site inspections including hosting agentsAttend trade shows and sales events to showcase the group to the marketSuccessful complaint resolutionPro-Actively identify key trade partners and plan activationsManage Trade Marketing on (but not limited to) consortium platforms, social media engagement strategy, e-blasts and identify other opportunitiesCoaching team members on selling, up-sell and cross-sell techniquesEnsure that direct employees are adequately trained and have all necessary resourcesCommunicate standards and expectations of our agents and guests to team membersPerform competitive benchmark studies, follow market trends, and create sales strategies aligned with the vision of the business, to maximise opportunities and mitigate riskAccuracy and completeness of supplier contractsAdherence to rate and offering information distribution deadlinesFollow all departmental and hotel, health, safety and security policies, processes, procedures, and standardsMEASURABLE DELIVERABLES : Accommodation and Sales Expense budget reviewDefine Sales Strategy for the groupAgents production review key accounts identified to develop / rewardAccommodation budget achieved / exceededReview override agreementsPenetration and growth of identified source marketsRe-assess and enhance source market focusRe-assess and enhance STO structure
