Own and continuously improve the month end closureprocess and management reporting process of results and forecast.

Represent Finance in any process improvementinitiatives for management reporting.

The role covers South East Africa (Zimbabwe, Zambia,Malawi, Mozambique) as well as Future Markets (Export business in South Africa).

  • Monthly :
  • Business Waste (BW)
  • Ensure the following are reported on time
  • Customer reporting
  • Trading Working Capital (TWC) & FA reporting
  • Gross Margin Variance Analysis (GMVA) reporting
  • Actuals reporting (Full P&L actuals)
  • Actuals template to the region
  • Volume trends report
  • Day 1 Flash to the Board (turnover & Underlying SalesGrowth)
  • Compile Flash Turnover & Submission to the Board
  • Flash P&L to FLT (Thembi)
  • GMVA Results Analysis - Category
  • Sales & Operations and Regional Forecastpreparation with actual and forecast data
  • Input the corporate adjustments calculated at a totalcompany prepared by Management and inputted to the detailed level in the excelforecast file
  • P&L Forecast Submission
  • GMVA Forecast file preparation with updating P&Lforecast and actual details for category finance and supply chain finance tocomplete
  • GMVA Forecast submission
  • Submission of Working Capital, Free Cash Flow andCapex Forecast
  • Submission of Pensions Forecast
  • Submission of Business Waste Forecast
  • Innovation Turnover Submission
  • Follow up on regional queries in respect tosubmissions to regional team
  • Month Forecast Supply Chain Cost Split used forcomparison to Actual month results
  • Month Turnover split by Small C for Customer Ddevelopment
  • Annual :
  • Allocated Charges Journal (Analysis, Monthly JournalTemplate)
  • BW and iFinance restatements

  • A relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • 2 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills, Excel modelling skills andattention to detail (accounting and reporting accuracy)
  • 2 yeas full operational & strong SAP Strong SAPexperience
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong engagement, presentation and communicationskills
  • Ability to present complex information in a simplifiedmanner and clearly explain Finance concepts to non-Finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work fluidly with data and across systemsthat support the Sales & Operations process (e.g. SAP, cash up tool)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other keystakeholders (business partnering)
  • People management skills
  • Demonstrate competency at growing people and strongteams
