A well-known and established Engineering Consultancy Firm within the Instrumentation Engineering design industry requires the above to oversee new business development, events and networking, quotations and tenders, management and reporting, project management and execution of all active projects.
Travel to sites will be limited.
Minimum requirements for the role :
Must have a Tertiary Engineering Qualification.
A Chemical Engineer with a S4 in Control and Instrumentation will also be considered.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in process, projects and consulting is essential.
Must have management and consulting experience.
Previous experience within a power station and in loop design, control system design, integration, testing and tagged equipment is preferred but not essential.
Must be deadline driven and have project management skills.
Must be willing to travel from time to time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Supporting the instrumentation division with conception developments and cost options, basic and detail engineering designs in the power generation industry and procurement documentation.
Participating in multi-disciplinary engineering activities and ensuring close cooperation with other divisions.
Designing instrumentation loops using Intergraph Smartplant Instrumentation software, COMOS or CAD.
Performing Factory Acceptance Testing of instrumentation and control systems.
Commissioning of control systems on site.
Evaluating the quality of installed instrumentation systems.
Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
