In this role you will

The Inbound Controller, being the central link between GSK Supply Chain, and the LSP(Imperial, Orange Shippers and Bollore),

The Inbound Controller provides analysis across the logistics stream with the aim to deliver exceptional service, cost performance and efficiencies.

The Inbound Controller constantly monitors 3rd Party Logistics partners to understand, predict and enhance supply and logistics processes and eliminate non-value-add work.

By using analytical and quantitative methods,

The Inbound Controller identifies, proposes, and implements agreed joint value projects / actions which will lead to improved, reliable, and efficient service levels at the lowest possible distribution cost and complexity.

The Inbound Controller co-ordinates and monitors primary and secondary transport of inventory into the 3PL warehouse

The Inbound Controller manages Inbound deliveries from both Local and Global GSK manufacturing sites into our 3PL and ensures that all information is accurate and relevant.

The Inbound Controller takes responsibility for daily stock receipts from supply sites onto the relevant GSK systems

Qualifications & Skills :

Basic Qualifications :

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management

Management of Warehouse & distribution data within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

Experience collaborating with 3PL’s

Preferred Qualifications :

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :

Certification in Supply Chain Management (ISM) or Inventory Management (APICS)

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management

Good working knowledge of Supply chain & Inbound processes

Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills

SAP ERP and Ariba advantageous

Effective time management skills
