  • Manage projects from feasibility studies to implementation
  • Analysis of project benefits, challenges and motivate feasibility
  • Raising the capital vote and getting approval for projects
  • Design P&ID diagrams and layouts to identify potential operational issues and ensure functionality
  • Plan the project deadlines and ensure the objectives are met
  • Project progress reporting
  • Select and manage contractors aligned with company policy to ensure desired project outcome
  • Liaising with suppliers concerning the design, manufacture and installation of equipment
  • Cost control of approved projects
  • Plant Change control management needs to ensure people and food safety
  • Risk assessment to ensure safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with plant installation regulations and legislation T
  • Desired Experience & Qualification

    Experience :

  • At least 5 years’ Project Engineering experience gained within a FMCG or Manufacturing environment
  • A stable work record is required
  • Advanced AutoCAD experience
  • Project management
  • Cost control
  • Technical writing and presentation skills
  • In depth knowledge of FMCG plant equipment i.e. Processing and Packing equipment
  • Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, food processing and P&ID
  • In depth knowledge of OSH-act and Food Safety systems(GMP’S and HACCP)
  • Qualifications :

  • A completed BTech / BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering A Project Management diploma or equivalent
