The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that all staff have the equipment to do the tasks set out, ensuring machinery and equipment is in good working order and are maintained as per maintenance schedules, training of staff on site, and ensure that site is compliant to the health and safety standards of the project.
Grade 12 or equivalent
3 years’ experience in production, heavy engineering or mining environment.
Previous demolition experience an added advantage
Experience in discipline and IR
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
Knowledge of processing ferrous and non-ferrous materials as well as quality standards
Ability to work in a physically demanding working environment.
Good customer services skills.
Good administrative skills
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent organizational ability
Ability to communicate well (both verbally and in writing)
