A fast-growing and well-established company offering telecommunication services and open access fibre cable installations is seeking the above to join their team to coordinate and achieve the strategic goals of projects and the company as a whole.
Minimum requirements for the role :
Must have own car and license.
Must have either a tablet, laptop or an iPad.
Must have experience in a basic fibre optic design tool (MS Visio, Google Earth or GIS Software).
Prior experience in IT, data or the fibre industry is essential.
Must have experience in project or implementation management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Providing the overall management effort required to integrate operational and project functions.
Managing the allocation and optimization of resources across all of the constituent projects.
Ensuring that overall project objectives are achieved.
Managing the overall project team in the execution of all tasks and activities.
Providing the planning, coordination, technical direction and surveillance necessary to ensure that work is performed in an efficient and effective manner.
Reviewing budget estimates and contractor invoices.
Compiling weekly progress reports including costs and performance reporting of all assigned tasks to management.
Identifying program risks and developing risk mitigation plans.
Communicating project requirements, budgets and objectives to the project team.
Establishing, implementing and maintaining technical management.
Serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective communication between all parties involved in the project.
Establishing, implementing and maintaining control systems in order to plan, organize, direct and control task order activities.
Conducting regular and structured meetings with heads of departments to ensure effective and efficient coordination.
Managing configuration and change management process effectively.
