Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel is looking for a Commis Chef to join the banqueting kitchen, to work in our staff canteen.

  • To prepare food and provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to all the customers (both internal and external) as per the set standards
  • Ensure that the quality & quantity standards of preparations and presentations are adhered to in the section.
  • Ensures hygiene and cleanliness of his / her area at all times.
  • Judging quality of raw material & providing quality finished products.
  • To follow safety rules and procedures at work.
  • To carry out any additional tasks as assigned.
  • Should maintain awareness of food cost, ensure minimum spoilage and wastage at all times.
  • Requirements

  • Graduate from a Hotel Management Institute or Food Production Course from a reputed institute advantageous.
  • 1 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Team orientation and goal Orientated.
