Company Secretarial Administrator Century City

R250 000 R300 000 Per Annum Negotiable on Qualification and Experience

Main Purpose of the role :

Provide Company Secretarial administration support to a client portfolio to ensure that all necessary statutory obligations are adhere too.

Qualification and Experience required :

  • LLB or related Legal Degree
  • Completed articles (an Admitted Attorney) would be an advantage!
  • 1-2 years experience company secretarial / legal administration gained ideally within the financial services and / or small to medium sized law firm
  • Minute taking and the drafting of minutes for Board meetings
  • Report writing skills (drafting and formatting thereof)
  • Proven understanding of Company Law
  • Report writing (drafting and formatting thereof)
  • MS Office proficient i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Main Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Reviewing of legal contract and preparing of documentation for signature, through identification of key risks and mitigants
  • Organize and attend board meetings
  • Take and draft minutes following board meetings
  • Ensure filing deadlines are met
  • Maintain statutory records, as required by the relevant legislation
  • Updating and maintaining board meeting calendars and schedules
  • Build relationships with clients and intermediaries
