Our client is one of South Africa's leading private education providers. From over 100 sites across the country and other African countries, they provide schooling options from pre-primary to tertiary level and everything in between.
From the early 2000s, they have enjoyed enormous growth; mostly building their own new facilities, but also repurposing existing premises or acquiring complimentary brands or standalone schools.
Their real estate team is relied upon to ensure all facilities are safe and procedures are adhered to. This business is currently searching for a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, health & safety, utilities, financial, budget and SLA management for their entire property portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities you will be responsible for supporting and managing a team of Facility coordinators that are based on-site towards achieving set objects, targets and deliverables that will enhance operational efficiency across the organisation at whole.
You will need to have a property related degree and a minimum of 10 years' career experience in a Facilities management role looking after a large education / tertiary facility portfolio.
