Our Systems Support role provides assistance and support related to systems and applications for Allocation, planning and all things retail!
Respond to issues and queries logged via various methods
Determining the nature of customer problems through asking relevant questions
Guide customers through the problem solving process
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
Apply basic data fixes through SQL
Resolve small bugs and enhancements using C# .
Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved
Gain feedback from customers about application issues and enhancements
Effectively maintain the day to day operations of the departmental Systems which include daily updates and reconciliation, verifying server backups, verifying database backups, server sizes, integration error reports
Documentation of daily procedures and compiling of System and training manuals (department specific)
Participation in User Group meetings with the Divisions
Ad hoc projects as they arise.
IT Diploma or Degree (Or studying towards one)
Excellent business knowledge in a retail environment
1+ years’ working experience with : SQL ServerC#SSISMicrosoft Excel at an advanced levelRetail Merchandising planning SolutionsBI / Hadoop / Snowflake Reporting Solutions
