One of our clients are looking to employ a Business Development Manager who is a specialist in Investment and well-experience in Asset Management.
This position is sales focused and the successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling the company’s products into the Retail Channel.
Required to have a good understanding of the retail business buy in of the product / investment offering;
Required to explore opportunities with prospective clients build reputable contact list;
Engage and build relationships / partnerships with intermediaries / gatekeepers ;
Partnerships providing an institutional platform with investment capabilities;
Required to service all existing clients and future clients interact with client queries;
Providing regular reviews to clients industry news, investment performance updates etc;
Conduct client presentations new pitches and report backs;
Compile tender documents;
Assist in producing research documents part of marketing material;
Stay abreast of industry matters legislation etc;
Required to have a good understanding of the competitors monitor / analyse etc;
Provide high level feedback to Investment Team on client needs & expectations know your client ;
Required to socialise with / entertain current and prospective clients
Experience Required :
Minimum five years - investment industry;
Preferably in sales / business development
Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
Required Knowledge / Skills :
Investment knowledge gained through working experience in the investment industry;
Good overall investment skills;
Strong selling skills ;
Relationship / people skills;
Superior presentation skills
