You will be responsible for : The overall management and development of all aspects of the HR value chain and department Develop and implement people strategies aligned to the business objectives inclusive of succession and workforce planning, performance management and talent development Support and coach the management team on all people matters, including business change and transformation Partner with management team to project manage organisational and procedural changes within the business area Oversight into the processes around casual staff employed from time to time for event specific work Contract Drafting - Employment contracts, consultancy agreements and international consultancy agreements Aligning business to BCEA / LRA business practices to ensure compliance Staying abreast of changes to legislation and labour law to advise management correctly and ensure implementation of any changes Compile and implement policies and procedures for all employees and managers to follow Act as a mediator to try and resolve employee grievances timeously Advise on and address all employee relations / IR mattersAnalyse and report on exit interviews and reason for employee turnoverFull payroll function including implementation and improvement of processes, preparation of key payroll reports for executives to review and ensuring payroll accounting is correct Design and implementation supporting staff claims process Input into the HR budget inclusive of increases and bonuses for employees Identifying appropriate recruitment platform and resources to support an optimal recruitment process Onboarding and Off-boarding of employees Performance management - develop performance management processes and systems and ensure implementation of plan Employee Engagement, monitor and advise ways in which to improve employee engagement and job satisfaction Culture management and employee wellness Foster a healthy workplace culture and align employee behaviours and company policies with the overall goals of the company, while also considering the well-being of individuals Managing International Travel - Creating Visa packs for international Visa applications, managing flight, accommodation and daily allowance needs Boxes to tick Matric Tertiary Qualification - Completed 3-year qualification (ideally HR related) 5 - 10 years' experience in an HR Management role - ideally in a start-up environmentHigh level of experience with recruitment
