Legal Secretary Medical Scheme Pretoria
The Legal Secretary will report directly to the Company Secretary and Legal Counsel and form part of the Company Secretariat and Legal Counsel Division.
The position is based in Pretoria.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) :
ü Provide administrative and legal secretarial services and support to the Company Secretariat and Legal Counsel Division
Qualification requirements are :
ü A minimum of a 2 year qualification in Administration or Secretarial Studies;
ü A Diploma would be an added advantage;
ü A legal qualification would be beneficial;
ü At least 3 years’ work experience as a legal secretary, experience within a legal department or firm;
ü Familiarity with legal documents and terminology;
ü Proficiency with MS Office;
ü Typing speed of at least 50 wpm with a high rate of accuracy;
ü Be organised and have good time management skills;
ü Be analytical and have the ability to manage priorities;
ü Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines;
ü Excellent written and oral communication skills;
ü Able to work in a team;
ü Strong sense of discretion;
ü Diligent work ethic;
ü High level of integrity; and
ü Should be able to work in a pressurised environment.
