  • Strong labour relations experience
  • Experience with disciplinary hearings, CCMA and arbitration
  • Strong, clear communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Contactable references
  • Clear criminal record
  • Skills :

  • Communicating and interpersonal skills; the ability to work with numerous constituencies
  • Knowledgeable in equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements.
  • Confidentiality and sensitivity, particularly when making judgments on specific issues
  • Having good knowledge of Disciplinary inquires, Disciplinary Hearings (chairing and initiating)
  • Being able to Object to CCMA matters,
  • Apply for Postponement, knowing the CCMA rules
  • Have knowledge of the different Bargaining counsels such as the DRC, MIBCO, MEIBC
  • Duties and responsibilities :

    All change, whether it be through growth, restructuring, products, mergers, downsizing or financially, impacts on employees in some way.

    Structured and legislatively compliant policy, practices and processes provide the support the business needs to always operate within.

    Responsible for anything to do with the employees of a company.

    Working closely with the HR department, oversee and manage any employee issues, inspecting and resolving these where possible.

    Focus both on individual and collective relationships in the workplace with an increasing emphasis on the relationship between managers and their team members.
