Currently, they have an opportunity for a dynamic / self-starter Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join their team

As a control and instrumentation engineer, you will form an integral part of the automation division, providing designs, engineering, and management consulting.

Experience Required :

  • BSc / BEng in Electrical / Electronic / Process Instrumentation Engineering (Light Current)
  • Min 5 years experience in Industrial Projects such as Mining, Petrochemical, Water Treatment or Manufacturing
  • Responsibilities will be in :

  • PLCs programming
  • PLC configuration
  • PLC panel design including hardware selection layouts and drawing up I / O schedules
  • Testing and commissioning
  • SCADA configuration
  • Database creation
  • SCADA coding
  • Creation of reports and setting up of trends
  • Managing projects through the respective project life cycle from design through the procurement and implementation phases culminating in the co-ordination of on-site commissioning
  • Handover to the client
  • Compiling technical specification documents for tender purposes
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
  • Undertaking the tender process
  • Program monitoring
  • MCC Design & FAT
  • Electrical Drives Design DOL, VSD, Soft Starter
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Cable Block Diagrams
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Cable Schedules and Wiring Diagrams
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Racking and Routing
  • MV & LV Reticulations
  • Lighting & Small Power Design
  • MV & LV Switchgear
