The candidate will be responsible to develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy that enables profitable growth for the business.
This includes, but not limited to marketing strategy development, planning and execution within the guidelines of the Group’s overall marketing strategy :
Position the Group as the leading and preferred short-term insurer of choice in the minds of South Africans and intermediaries.
Develop a marketing strategy which articulates the Group value propositions and supports profitable growth.
Translate marketing strategies into detailed executional plans across media and distribution channels.
Develop and implement the integrated marketing plan using a combination of traditional and digital media channels.
Monitor and track marketing metrics and take the necessary actions to address performance gaps and respond to competitor strategies.
Influence key business stakeholders in the interpretation, implementation and execution of the marketing vision.
Understand and interpret the market and business context, while integrating insights in the development of the marketing and communication plan.
Develop, manage and maintain annual marketing budget.

Relevant 3 years business / marketing degree or equivalent.
At least 8-10 years related marketing experience, with a proven track-record of strategic marketing capability and delivery.
Thorough knowledge of the advertising, media and digital industries across all marketing disciplines and digital platforms.
Thorough understanding of the advertising agency processes and work methods.
Solid marketing expertise, including B2B marketing and communication.
Proven track-record of developing and executing digital content, retention and attraction strategies.
Proven track-record of successful delivery of the marketing strategy and activity plans.
Relationship building skills (ability to relate and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders).
Planning and implementation of marketing strategy.

Qualification and Experience :
4 years Degree or Diploma with 8-10 years related marketing experience.
