Within the Equities business line, the IHS Markit ETF and Benchmarking Solutions (EBS) products provide data management, operational, analytics and valuation services primarily to sell-side trading desks, hedge funds and ETF issuers.

The products play crucial role in the ETF and index trading ecosystem.Duties and Responsibilities Your RoleYou will be a key member of the IHS Markit EBS Business Development team in the EBS Product Management group.

You are an ETF and Index Subject Matter Expert (SME) and responsible for driving the growth of our Index and ETF data business in APAC to maintain our market leading position.

As a product specialist / SME your key responsibilities include : Supporting our Sales Team in the product sales life cycle from driving product pitches, demos, working with support teams and prospects during trials, proposal development, contracting and contract renewals,Providing crucial information channel to product management / development team by connecting prospects / customers and the product team via feedback on existing products, suggestions for new products or enhancements,Driving product launch / go-to-market strategy of new services with fact finding, pricing and lead generation and campaigns,Be critical part of the regional product sales strategy working on yearly planning, partnerships, lead generation, being familiar with the dynamics and specifics of the different markets across APAC.

Ensure existing customer are engaged, they understand what we are working on and we are aware of what their main focus and concerns are.

Help our product and customer support teams with customer onboarding, product support and being part of the senior members of the regional team who can handle escalations and higher level conversations.

You are a self-starter and enjoy working in a dynamic global team.Key Qualifications and Skills : University educated with 6+ years experience in a client facing role ideally with sales, business development or product management background working with financial data productsUnderstanding of ETFs, indexes / benchmarks and how they work and are usedTechnical expertise with Excel, databases, APIs, flat files delivery mechanisms is requiredExperience with VBA and Python is preferredProficiency in English and Japanese is a must, proficiency in Mandarin and / or Korean is a plus.
