Job Summary

The individual will be responsible for the overall delivery of key projects in support of the company’s equipment, building and maintenance to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional.

The role provides expertise in real estate issues and coordination of real estate projects while ensuring consistent communication and compliance with Office Management policies, procedures and practices, including the administration of leases.

Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Office Lead
  • Establishes job priorities and time frames for maintenance staff
  • Monitor completion of job assignments through frequent field observation and inspections, assisting with safety audits, facilitating compliance with standards and maintaining related safety records.
  • Schedules and supervises maintenance activities within the building, including work performed by contractors
  • Develops specifications and makes recommendations on equipment purchases that are involved in maintenance
  • Serves as the liaison for LNSA real estate / facilities leasing matters.
  • Lead, plan, implement office design in all the regions within LNSA
  • Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
  • Ensure that routine maintenance on facilities and repairs are completed
  • Share reports on maintenance, repairs and other occurrences for LNSA building etc
  • Responsible for the development / implementation of leased real estate policies, procedures and practices for LNSA
  • Coordinates with the various business units to provide real estate services in order to assist the business units achieve their objectives
  • Represents the business units in real estate analysis, broker selection, site selection, lease negotiation and property acquisition
  • Develops negotiation strategy and business term objectives, carrying out said negotiations to support of the business units' short- and long-term goals
  • Provide appropriate financial analyses, recommendations and selections of leased real estate to the business
  • Responsible for all lease records and database management for the portfolio of all owned and leased properties, including document transmittals and financial reporting
  • Arranges for the accurate and timely payment of rent, operating expenses and other lease related fees
  • Accountable for the disposition of surplus real estate through the negotiation of subleases and / or lease terminations in order to reduce corporate lease liabilities
  • Ensure that landlords of existing leased real estate are providing services in accordance with the lease agreement
  • Initiates strategic business reviews and tactical planning efforts with the appropriate internal business leaders in advance of pending lease portfolio milestones, e.
  • g., notices, options and terminations.

  • Preferred Qualifications / Requirements

  • A relevant Diploma / Degree.
  • Knowledge of the OHSA and other legal requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
