Job summary : The Generalist Consultant role is a client-facing role whose responsibilities are to analyse business problems, develop hypotheses and develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.

The Consultant will be required to work closely with and influence clients at varying levels of seniority and drive the implementation of business solutions.

Qualifications and experience required : Bachelor’s degree. Business / Economics or related field or STEM preferable At least 3 years’ working experience Commercial business experience is an advantage Code 08 drivers’ licence Duties to be performed Analysing business challenges, forming hypotheses and developing solutions Conducting research, collecting, analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data Interviewing clients’ employees, management, executives and stakeholders at varying levels of organisational seniority Presenting research findings and recommendations to clients Facilitating workshops Drafting reports and creating presentations Developing plans to implement solutions Developing and facilitating training for clients Liaising with the client to ensure that they kept on board at all stages of the client engagement Identifying business opportunities and supporting the development of business proposals Conducting activities under the direction of management and project leadership Skills required : Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Planning and organisational skills Analytical problem solving and critical thinking Exceptional qualitative and quantitative analytical skills Strong written and verbal skills (English)Understanding of the business environment Attributes required : Ability to deal with pressure and meet deadlines Ability to grasp and assimilate new concepts quickly Ability to influence others and drive them to action Ability to operate in fluid situations Dedication to self-development Exceptional interpersonal and the ability to work in teams Flexibility High level of attention to detail Maturity and professional approach to work Problem solving mindset Resilience Strong listening skills
