Minimum requirements for the role :
Previous experience selling machinery and equipment into the food or related industry is essential.
Must have a food background and strong hunter personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to travel nationally when required is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Managing the company’s top key accounts and ensuring that sales targets are met.
Developing sales strategies to ensure strategic growth development within the company.
Maximising profitability, controlling working capital, growing the portfolio and achieving budgetary objectives by calling on all accounts and potential accounts as nominated.
Introducing new product ranges to the existing and potential customers.
Compiling a business plan which includes strategies and sales forecasts for annual budgets.
Identifying new markets and conversion opportunities.
Assisting with all aspects of negotiations.
