The main purpose of this position is ensuring the management of the Dept and the development and presentation of training material with the intention of addressing company specific training needs.Duties :

  • To assist the Senior Management Team with the identification of training needs in their respective business units.
  • To manage / identify the training objectives, outcomes and processes as a result of the identified training needs and subsequently ensure that suitable training material is developed.
  • To obtain the input from subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy with regards to the developed training material.
  • To take full responsibility for the scheduling of the actual training and to ensure the optimization of training officers within the BP training dept.
  • To present and manage the presentation of the training material to the learners ensuring learning does in fact take place.
  • To develop and obtain approval from stakeholders with regards to assessments upon completion of the training process in order to determine that learning has taken place.
  • To moderate all training presented by staff members at Branches, Fitment Centre and training officers within the BP dept.
  • To manage and ensure that monthly reports and other regular reports as requested by Management is supplied timeously.
  • Degree / National Diploma
  • Training Qualification (Degree would be great but National Diploma will also suffice)
  • Registered Skills Development facilitator
  • Qualified Assessor and Moderator
  • Qualified On-The-Job Coaching Skills - Voice and Speech Coach
  • Minimum 5 years experience developing and presenting of material
  • Minimum 5 years experience in managing a training department
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Telematics / SVR or similar industry
