Business Unit : Enablement, reporting into Werner Buttner and indirectly into Consulting CFO.
Role description :
We need to create a pricing tool (Excel based, but with a lot of coded macros in VBA) for every service line in the firm (Africa Wide).
Some of these may just require minor changes from a coding perspective, but others could be significant. One will only know when requirements are gathered and analysed for each one.
The person would need to be able to :
ADVANCED and High proficiency in Excel (basically and Excel Wizard)
Will deploy the pricing tools across the entire Africa region
High proficiency in VBA (knowledge of how to record macros doesn’t help as there is existing code that needs to be modified)
Experienced in creating tools in the environment described above
Interfacing with business partners across the Deloitte network of member firms
Requirement gathering and analysis into a set of business requirements that need to be implemented in the pricing tool
Data sets would need to be gathered from each member firm’s service line and converted into the pricing tool database format
Analytically adept at spotting when data sets have deficiencies
Adapting of user manuals
Support needs to be given to business when rolling out the tool
