Your skills set and experience will ideally pertain to strong outbound sales processes whilst remaining focused on consistent support and follow through to your allocated external Hygiene Sales consultants and allocated customer portfolio.
POSITION INFO :
A position for a Sales Support Assistant, known as the Heartbeat and Voice of the organisation, has become available at this Market Leading Company that specialises within the Imports and Distribution of Top-Quality High-End Hygiene & Cleaning Products.
This position will require you to deal with customers on leads via email, telephony, and sporadic walk-in clients.
Responsibilities will include :
Provide quotations constantly for any of the required products
Address any customer enquiries regarding the products (telephonic, email or walk-ins)
Understand the products very well and be willing to continuously refresh product knowledge
Make use of SAP ERP to create quotations, sales opportunities and update the SAP CRM module with activities and changes in opportunities
Assist Hygiene Consultants to fill their diary with meeting or assessments, and weekly sales reports
Be comfortable following up on proposals or quotations telephonically
Be comfortable selling on the phone from start to finish which includes assisting to close the sale
Be comfortable arranging meetings or assessments with customers and using MS Outlook as the scheduling tool
Be comfortable cold calling
Minimum requirements :
Matric / Grade 12 and a relevant diploma advantageous
3 years minimum experience in a sales support position (previous outbound sales / cold calling will be advantageous)
MS Office Suite Application Intermediate to Advanced (Excel at minimum on intermediate level)
An understanding of the sales process and have experience with telephone sales
Be able to work well in a team with and provide support to one or more Hygiene Consultants
Working Hours Monday to Friday (08h00 17h00)
