going clean data Provide the tools for executives to make strategic decisions Provide the information and analysis (internal operations and client insights) for executives to make strong business decisions Essential to have or be registered with any of : BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysts) CCBA (Certification Capability in Business Analysis) CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) AdBA (Advanced Business Analysis Programme) Must be able to plan business analysis approaches to define an appropriate method to conduct business analysis activities Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with stakeholders Must be able to define how decisions are made about requirements and designs, including reviews, change control, approvals and prioritisation of requirements Identify business analysis performance improvements to assess business analysis work and to plan to improve processes where required Must be able to understand the scope of the elicitation activity, select appropriate techniques and plan for (or procure) appropriate supporting materials and resources Ability to ensure that requirements and designs at different levels are aligned to one another and to manage the effects of change to one level on related requirements Must be able to analyse the current state, understand the reasons why there is a need to change some aspect of how the business operates and what would be directly or indirectly affected by the change Analyse potential value and recommend solutions to estimate the potential value for various design options and to establish which one is most appropriate to meet the enterprises requirements Define performance measures and use the data collected to evaluate the effectiveness of a solution in relation to the value it brings Strong visual design skills used in creating information dense, easy to understand reports and dashboards Experience working with stakeholders and end-

users to define, test, elicit and deliver technical and functional BI requirements by making use of Business Intelligence reporting tools Experience with Analysis Services and MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Strong knowledge of relational, SQL and dimensional databases Analytical and communication skills MS Excel skills Must be flexible and work analytically in a problem-

solving, results oriented environment Must be able to clearly communicate stakeholder reporting needs Must be willing to work with and learn new technologies Must be action oriented with excellent follow through Must be accountable
