  • Relevant NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) qualification in Safety / Risk Management i.e. NADSAM
  • At least 7-10 years post qualification experience in Health and Safety Management within a Concentrators / Smelter / Refineries and Surface environment
  • Good Computer Literacy (MS Office).
  • Able to analyse and interpret data and make data driven decisions.
  • Be able to implement and maintain an integrated system for certification of ISO 14001, 9001, 45001.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems i.e. Six Sigma or similar will be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of operational risk management and mitigation practices and principles.
  • Working knowledge of good governance / Legal requirements.
  • Familiar with compliance principles and functions.
  • Able to spend some time in the field to allow for an understanding of business systems and processes.
  • Analytical and work creatively within a problem solving / improvement environment.
  • Knowledge of system and design, implementation and review.
  • Able to anticipate cross-functional impact of implementation within business.
  • Good management report writing skills.
  • Sound financial management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Able to conceptualise business processes and systems assurance requirements.
  • Able to conceptualise the impact of a single decision on the holistic environment.
  • Understanding of technical processes that could create Health and Safety related risks and threats.
  • Working knowledge of risks assessment practices and principles
  • Fully computer literate with the ability to build presentation
  • In possession of own transport
  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre

  • NQF7 (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) in business management
  • Auditors qualification in ISO 14001, 9001 and 45001
