At Hertex every day counts. We communicate with honesty and respect and work relentlessly, with passion and energy. We require a full time Showroom Consultant who will be based at our upmarket showroom in Fourways who will work between the showroom and the HAUS homeware store.

MAIN DUTIES : Maintain retail showroom standards Maintain showroom operations by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, manage stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books etc.

Build productive relationships with customers by providing advice and selling to customers in the showroom Support field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants Manage orders of additional products for the showroom Advise and sell to customers in the HAUS store REQUIREMENTS : National Senior Certificate Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design or related field At least 2 years sales experience in a retail environment Exposure to an interior design environment Experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage Own reliable transport Skills and Knowledge required : Good telephone etiquette Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) Good presentation skills Good with building and maintaining customer relationships Excellent customer service and after sales service Good with selling products and concepts Professional with good business etiquette Behaviours essential : Be assertive with drive and ambition Be decisive and able to prioritize Be determined Able to cope with stress Good with time management and activity planning Able to take action, initiative and follow through Creativity and innovative thinking Market related with company benefits.
