As a Mimecast Sales Engineer you will provide a sales enablement function mapping Mimecast’s product suite to customers business and technical requirements in a seamless, easy and uninterrupted way.
Based in our Johannesburg office, this position will support the sales activities of United Kingdom and Ireland sales team.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be an enthusiastic and energetic technical advisor who is looking for a role that places you at the forefront of new technology and innovation with an established solution set.
The Sales Engineer will cover these main competencies
Ensure the Mimecast service is positioned correctly, understood by customers and any technical objections are overcome.
Work with our sales colleagues by providing input into the qualifications and sales strategies in partnership with sales.
Train partners and develop close working relationships with various technical staff in the reseller partner organization.
Who we are looking for :
Technically, you will be well-versed in the nuances of email infrastructure. You will have experience with Microsoft Exchange, and potentially its relevant competitors too.
You will understand email protocol, and the infrastructure required to support it.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a background in sales engineering in the cyber security space who is looking to drive their career forward.
You must be able to establish & maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle, exude a passion for understanding the technical needs of the customer and articulating the value of Mimecast’s products and solutions in meeting those needs.
You must therefore be a confident and experienced communicator who is able to represent Mimecast with impact and professionalism.
