  • Minimum requirements :
  • Must come from Firearm Training background
  • This position will take control of the entire training centre operation and will take responsibility of all tasks and duties in his own portfolio as well accountability of all duties of immediate subordinates.
  • This position will also take responsibility and accountability for the inventory and / or assets of the training centre as well as sales of modules and the security during operating hours and after operating hours.

  • The Training Centre Manager is responsible for maintaining customer service through great in-house training, high quality communication, issuing of certificates in a timeous fashion, and storing details for as long as prescribed by PFTC.
  • Ensuring focus on gun safety on and off the shooting range and ensuring that all customers are fully equipped, and competent with the specific firearm competency they are applying for.

  • Direct all operational aspects of the training centre
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
  • Discuss, Implement and execute action plan with Ops exec to drive sales through marketing initiatives.
  • Meet goals and targets set out in the annual budget
  • Manage budget and ensure all expenses stay within the set parameters.
  • Ensuring all ammunition is picked before the physical training session commences.
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations / applicable laws
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the training centre and company
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
  • Weekly update to Ops Executive on MTD sales and potential growth
  • Monthly stock checks to ensure stock is issued correctly and invoiced correctly. KEY VALUE INDICATORS
  • Monitor and report weekly on Sales to budget / Sales on Last year, GP to budget / GP on Last year
  • Sales performance measurement and commission payment to staff
  • Measure Capacity on ongoing basis and add additional training days when Capacity is reached for example. (Training twice a week in centre with 10seats equates to 80 people monthly).
  • Ensure that all training firearms are registered on the training centre‚Äôs name.
  • Monthly steercom to discuss strategy
