g. : BCEA, LRA, EEA, POPI, and relevant international labour law. Industrial Relations Ensure efficient preparation for conciliation and arbitration matters.
Support in case investigation and act as senior advisor overseeing case preparation. Oversee the full IR function including liaising with CCMA, Attorneys, and other key stakeholders.
Liaising with respective Unions Nationally. Designing / Implementing / Maintaining Company Disciplinary Code. Updating and revising of company Policies and Procedures.
Attending CCMA Cases (Conciliation / Arbitration / Labour Court) if, and when required. Attend to grievances and provide support with conflict resolutions.
Prompt and proper handling of disciplinary and grievance matters. Ensure proper record keeping of all IR matters. Employee Relations Support, develop and coach managers to manage employee relations issues using Group policies, procedures and best practice, ideally resolving issues informally where possible.
Guidance and support to Line Management i.r.o. Performance Improvement Plans and Performance Management. Continuously seek efficiencies in current processes and formulate strategies for new implementations.
Training and Developing Others Support, develop and coach HR team members, ensuring that they are skilled in IR and EE matters.
Support, develop and coach managers in relation to their approach and consideration of people issues, ensuring that they understand the impact of these on the individual and the business.
Employment Equity Responsible for assisting with the strategic direction and control of the employment equity functionality.
Coordinating and participating in Employment Equity meetings. Projects / Initiatives & Strategy Identify projects and HR initiatives, adding value to company culture.
Analysing statistics, identifying trends, and making recommendations based on findings.
