JOB DESCRIPTION : Responsibilities


  • Excellent Technical knowledge of Restaurant equipment Fridges / Freezers, grillers, warmers, toasters, Hoods, etc.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers for new Kitchen / Restaurant and related equipment
  • Obtain quotes for repairs to existing Kitchen / Restaurant and related equipment
  • Evaluation of quotes based on reasonable price / quality with regards to new equipment as well as repairs
  • Loading of orders for new equipment as well as repairs to equipment
  • Ordering of required spares for Kitchen / Restaurant and related equipment
  • as per requirements
  • Receiving Kitchen / Restaurant equipment and related spares
  • Packing and issuing of equipment from the stores / branches
  • Maintaining correct inventory levels
  • Stock control and stock counts
  • Capturing of invoices and processing of all relevant paperwork
  • Filing of all paperwork
  • Requirements :

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • MUST have experience with Kitchen / Restaurant experience NON-Negotiable
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Kitchen / Restaurant / Catering equipment
  • Computer literate with MS office
  • Pastel / Sage experience
  • Must stay in the Pretoria area
  • SA Citizens Only
  • Candidates who have previous Equipment Repair / Technician and Store / warehouse experience will have a preference
  • Salary is dependent on relevant experience and skill set
