Product LeadLocation : Alberton (JHB)Salary : R17 400A family-owned and -managed manufacturer and distributor of granular abrasives commodities is recruiting for a Product Lead to meet or exceed the allocated sales budget by selling the employers products to existing customers and soliciting sales from potential new customers.
Duties IncludeFollow up and collect outstanding monies from customers who have defaulted on their payments or made short payments,Maintaining the relationship and ensuring the company remains a customer of employerOpen cash accounts where applicable.
Develop proposals in response to your request to quote (RFQ) Responses within 7 days and ensure that they market the employers products as favourable;
Follow up on all quotes and proposals within 2 hours of receipt; Monitor your customer accounts and ensure that their records are up to date;
Follow up on back orders and dispatch orders and ensure that your customers kept abreast; Identify opportunities and anticipates competitive offers in the market to ensure that the employer maintain its competitive edge;
Promote and arrange open days; Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings; Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis;
Achieve the customers objectives defined by management; Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service,Management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations;
Promote the employers solutions in various forums and directly with customers; Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives;
Create and update the following : o quotation schedule; order schedule; and pending quotation schedules Meet with relevant target markets;
Make at least 5 lead calls per day;Quotations to be provided to leads within 48 hours from receiving the RFQ; andFollow up on the RFQ within 7 daysRequirementsMatric / national qualification with mathematics;
Marketing diploma / degree (advantageous); Sales experience in a technical / mechanical sales environment; Micro Soft office suite (intermediate to advanced);
valid (code 8) drivers license; Technical knowledge of our product as well as knowledge of our product range overall; and Must be able to manage time well and multi task.
