Nouryon has an outstanding opportunity for an Agricultural Specialties Global Controller in Radnor, PA.

Oversees the financial and business performance of the assigned business operations, and contributes to the execution of business strategy and achievement of financial objectives by providing (financial) performance analysis and management information, performing planning and control activities, and acting as an objective trusted and challenging partner to peers and seniors in business decision making.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provides financial and business performance insights
  • Drives the planning and control cycle and related activities
  • o Different roles in the Integrated Business Planning process meetings, chairing the IRR, facilitating the MBR meeting and participating in the DMR and PMR meetings

    o Responsible for the budget process within the Business Line

    o Accountable for quality and correctness of the P&L and BS for all Legal entities in his / her area through responsibilities of the Reporting Center of Excellence / Regional Accounting Centers

  • Financial lead for business projects (including R&D), proposals and investments
  • Acts as trusted partner to business stakeholders to drive decision-making
  • o Business partner to commercial organization : both Sales and Product Management / Marketing

    o Link to the broader Nouryon organization beyond Marketing & Sales (ISC / accounting / PF Central)

  • People leadership of commercial and regional controllers
  • Contributes to business strategy development and implementation
  • o Drives value in the business line commercial contracts, margin management, critical analysis and follow-up of pain points , etc.

    o Development and execution of commercial improvement initiatives and embedding them

    Key Activities :

    Financial and business performance insights :

  • Analyses historical and future financial and business performance tied to key external market indicators
  • Provides periodic management information on the (financial) performance of the assigned business operations
  • Translate key insights from performance analysis into recommendations
  • As a member of the Business Finance Leadership Team, Co-responsible for :
  • o Formulating and implementing the Business’ control and accounting plans

    o Evaluating and developing the finance organization for the Business

    o Driving the finance agenda and targets for the Business

    Qualifications :

  • Masters in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar MBA preferred
  • Business : has worked in multiple manufacturing and specialties businesses Agricultural businesses is a plus
  • Functional : has worked in at least two areas of finance
  • Prior direct leadership experience is a large benefit, but not necessary if the candidate can show project and cross functional leadership
